After playing the demo I noticed my PC was having some performance problems. what kinds of systems do you need for this? I have a decent system, but maybe my video card is lacking?

It was on sale at Target for 37 bucks, but I dont want to lower a bunch of settings to run it so it looks like a Win 98 game lol!

your 6800XT was on sale for 37$ ?!?! that was a god card back in its day, but, it lacks alot when it comes to what this game will take. lowering your settings to "win98" is about all you can really push with the card. its nearing the end of its life cycle in terms of usuability. can cod4 is a very graphics intensive game.

Next question. is it pcie or agp?

i run a c2D @ 3.0 ghz per core. 7950 GT oc. 2gb ram. and i run it at 1200 - 768 ish (cant remember exact settings).

Game runs flawless.

You should have no Problem Running the game mate at all. As for the Demo it was abit unstable but with your spec's and Graphic card it should run like a dream mate

yep. the 6800xt was nerfed compared to the agp variant. lower clock speeds. my bet, depending on the resolution your playing at will hinfder it. it should be able to run fine if i had to kae a guess at 1024*768 with medium settings. the rest looks quite sufficient!

thats what I was afraid of.... I hate turning down settings, I don't mind no AA, but running lower res makes things look poopy.... ugh in a few months my wife said I could get a new card.....I'm either looking at the 8800GT 512 or 8800GTS 512.....
