I was torn between CoD section and computer section. Admins feel free to move this if needed.
Short version: I'm a dumbass.
long version, i was cleaning off some files on a portable harddrive. Accidentally switched drives and didn't realize it and deleted CoD 4. no big deal, ive got my profile backed up will only lose a few ranks.
WELL.... at first i cant completely remove the game to reinstall. Finally fixed that after i deleted some registry keys. I did a reinstall, game says it completed successfully. BUT the executable files are not there and the game will launch. Shortcuts the game placed are broken also It looks like most of the folder structure is present but i cant verify.
I sent in a ticket to Activision, but im not expecting much from them. Any ideas what i can do to fix my CoD?
