    USB connector vs. jacks?

Hey all, I got this headset for Christmas

    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16826106381

I really like it so far, but have one question:

Should I be using the little red and green jacks or the USB connector? I use them with a Creative X-fi sound card. I've been using the jacks, plugging them into my card directly. What is the purpose of the USB adapter?

The USB adapter is mainly there for ease of use and people who don't have a good sound card. Keep using the jacks.

WHat Juneau said. That is a great headset. I have one. I used to use the USB sound until I got a Creative X-Fi. Now I use the X-Fi for sound and the USB for the mic. (I had a problem with static in the mic when I used the X-Fi in Vista. Don't know what caused it. The mic worked fine in XP.)

I have the same problem with a Logitech set. I think its a Vista issue.
