BF2. I could never play it online without crashing or punkbuster molesting me but ive played endless hours of singleplayer with much delight.

I voted BF 1942. I remember the day it came out I thought it was the Best war game ever. I still like to play it every now and then

I played BF1942 a little bit but never got into it until BF2. that is an awesome game. I was tasked to create a map at the place I work for BF2 and we used it at a big expo in NY, some of you might have heard of the Digital Life expo. Well I spent 3 weeks creating a small map that was a frag fest and I loved playing BF2 ever since. Now I have gone into the future and play BF2142 like it was the fountain of youth.

have to go with 2142

never played 1942 online(slow internet back then)
bf2 was fun but i never figured out the controls for the jets and i was on the rubberducky server consistently getting killed in the uncaps
plus my sp forces never worked online

2142 besides all its short comings is my favorite of the 3

1942 as it has LARGE ships to drive. No other BF has that.

Only BF2... this game is much much better then 2142
