    Origin Crap

    http://www.tomshardware.com/news/Ori...DRM,13285.html

Naughty Naughty Ea, I really dont like this. Granted I have nothing to hide but I dont like the invasion of my privacy. They dont need to know what apps and programs I run, screw them. If im feeling generous I MIGHT give them the specs on my system but anything above and beyond that they can **** off.

Actually, if you have read the original EA ULA you can see that it has been saying that for as long as they had one. You just hadn't read it before until someone mentioned it. If you had an EA game before, it had already been recording this.

First the government and now video game makers. Whos next for the invasion of privacy?
We work in the dark, to serve the light. We are Assassins.

I bet that more aspects of games do this then you know. Most likely things like face book as well.

Not quite the same. Steam asks you to opt in.

Steam does ask to take the equipment surveys, and I think EA has proven that it is a bit more sleazy in there tactics then Steam has shown. I think the E in EA really stands for evil.

You're welcoming that invasion by installing their code. You ultimately have the choice.

Here is an article about this.

                    http://www.guru3d.com/news/ea-eula-g...scan-your-hdd/

Valve?s policy is self-restricted to anything on your PC directly relating to its own products. EA?s is so broad that it gives the publisher permission to scan your entire hard drive, and report back absolutely anything you may have installed, and indeed when you may use it, and then pass that information on the third parties.
