    Wierd Problem

Ok, I had to reformat my computer. I'm not going to say why though.. lol

Anyways, when I scroll the web page, the only way I can describe is that it's jerky. It won't just glide like it did before. Also when I move something across the desk top, it does the same thing.

I've checked the mouse settings and they are the same as my hubby's and so I'm clueless.

You have the video card drivers installed, right? You probably have already, but when I reinstalled Windows on Minerva's rig, I noticed the same jerkiness.

If the answer is yes, then I am out of ideas.

I just realized it and came to post while my drivers are downloading.

I remembered it happening last time I reformatted but couldn't remember how I fixed it.. lol.. DOH

by default windows wants to use its standard drivers. So if its a fresh install when it detected the video card it probably used the safe drivers. Those are crappy except for onboard cards and cause alot of jerkiness.

It should clear up when you install the new drivers.
Also if you have a onboard card make sure its disabled.

You can probably lower display settings now though to a smaller res and that should help. Until you install the new drivers.
