More than one soldier per Battlelog Account possible



Good news, everyone. Recently there was some speculation on how much soldiers you can create in Battlelog on your Battlefield 3 / EA Origin Account. In the early Alpha Trial you could only create one Soldier per Battlelog Account. We now have proof from a User who sneak peeked into Battlelog, yes it _was_ possible. He managed to create multiple Soldiers on his profile and confirmed that it’s possible to create more than one. Check out the Screenshots below to get a peek on Battlelog.

A few days ago we reported that Nvidia will release special drivers optimized for Battlefield 3, which will bring enhanced stability and performance for the upcoming beta.

Not to be outdone, rival graphics card maker AMD has announced that they too will be releasing special drivers for their Radeon graphics cards just in time for the Battlefield 3 beta. The new Radeon Catalyst drivers will be custom made for Battlefield 3, much like Nvidia’s drivers. Both drivers are set to be released next week, a day ahead of the beta which drops on September 27.

So can someone please explain to me what the purpose of that is. It seems it you change soldiers your stats and rank change with it. Is that correct.

Plus, if you cant use a specific name in the first place because it was taken, whats the use.

Seems only hackers would need something like that when they get caught. Unless the GUID stays the same. Which I guess it does.

But I have never seen the need for other soldiers because of the stats issue.

Maybe I'm wrong.

1. it is useful if you have multiple people who play in your household, because you don't have to buy multiple copies of the game.
2. it means your soldier name will not be tied to your origin name; you can use whatever you want as long as it isn't taken.

maybe they made the orgin name one thing and you can make any BF3 name ingame

True, but some of us are locked out of our original EA accounts and have to use different pseudonyms. I had to choose Tuquigosmash and I want to be seen as Tuqui-tuqui in game, if not {CLR}Tuqui-tuqui, as I have always been known when I play in a Cain server.

I also was not able to choose the name I wanted as my Origin ID. They said it contained special characters. Since when is . a special character? Ended up having to use DeadAgainCLR. I would much rather be able to use Dead...Again.
