Nice looking keyboard I a sucker for blue LEDs and I also like the headset jacks on the back of it but I don't know if I could give up the mini LCD on my G15.

Looks cool, but I like the added functionality of the G15 more. As Duke said, I've grown too used to looking at the the mini LCD. :D

I have a $20 Logitech keyboard, never really looked into keyboards for gaming.

What the heck is displayed on the LCD that makes it so valuable?

There are a bunch of aps that you can get for the LCD. In bf2142 there was a screen that had your stats for that round. The ones I use now are RivaTuner for temps and fans speeds, Ventrilo information, Xfire information.

They have come out with a new verison of the G15 so you may be able to find the old one for a deal.

Cool. I still have a few gift cards left over from the holidays, so I just might get lucky! hehe.

I almost bought one of these instead of my Saitek. I just couldn't justify spending that much money though. :D

YOU neglected to mention the Optimus Maximus! fully decked out with Oled key at around 1500! you can buy the basic version with 1 oeld key for $492 and upgrade on a key by key basis for $10 a key. how's that for fancy?

Out of game, I use an app called Sir Real's Multipurpose G15 plugin (http://www.g15forums.com/forum/showthread.php?t=4209). It's highly configurable, and has a whole bunch of modules. In one screen, I have the date, time, live network traffic info, RAM and CPU usage meters (CPU has 3 lines; core 1, core 2, average), volume display with the ability to change between headset and speaker audio profiles by hitting the button under it, and an iTunes display with time remaining (pressing the soft button shows track info). In the remaining slot I have a module that appears when a program locks up. It displays the name of the frozen program, and holding the soft button under it for a couple of seconds closes the program instantly. Additionally, it has an option to inject media controls into iTunes. Anyone with a media keyboard has probably realized that the controls don't work if iTunes in minimized to the tray or start menu. With this plugin, they do.

I highly recommend it. :2thumbs:
