It's interesting. A friend and I were playing last night ~12 or so, server crashed.

Us and 1 other joined. Then the 4th player came in. 5 minutes later I was still thinking there were only ~8 of us in server, but it was full. I was... surprised to find myself fighting a group of enemies when I thought it was still mostly empty.
