Accuracy of +/- 2 but I'd be interested in seeing some real world tests of that. We all know design specs don't always match up with real world realities.

I wouldn't trust it either. I have a laser thermometer gun that I had to pay 70 dollars to get a certificate of calibration. It is supposed to be accurate within 1/10th of a degree, but it is not, and it requires you to point the laser at the surface you want to check. I can't imagine something like this little gadget being more accurate than that 270 dollar laser device.
I guess I'd have to see it to believe it.

ever since i worked in a grocery store i wanted one. but the cost was prohibitive. this would be fun, for anything but cpu temp monitoring. there are plenty of other applications for it though!
