Well after playing SF for the first time I was blown away!(Ive had the game for two years now) It was a heck of a lot of fun. It was a nice change of pace. The maps are better balanced, way more cover for infantry, and the zip lines were fun as hell. Imo this is a better game than vanilla. Cain I hope we can play it more often than one day a week! Oh and it was nice to see you again, its been what about a year since we squadded up? Take care, Mass.

SF really is a LOT of fun, I agree, it is my preference too .... And really good Ranked Dallas SF servers are rare, we could probably build quite a following....

I have dedicated yet another lunch time to try and hunt down a bargain copy of the game..

They're out there..... Also look for Battlefield 2 Deluxe, they are also in bargain bins too ...

Yes, you need to reapply the 1.41 patch once you load SF.. You will also get a few new unlocks for Vanilla BF2 ...

Note if you get the BF2 Deluxe edition, you have to reinstall the whole kit-n-kaboodle (Vanilla and SF come bundled in one package, rather than having two sets of disks in the box).

And I agree, it's great fun and quite a bit more diverse than Vanilla BF2. Still have Chopper rape at times though (Ghost Town )

I'm going to super clean my SF copy, and try and reload it. 2 stores I went to had no SF copies.

They will replace it for you if you call them.... I think .

if you get a shader error when you start SF, i fixed it by copying the shader.zip file to the shaders folder in the mods folder for both BF2 and xpack

OK, locally I found that when I can find a copy of SF it still costs 19.99. Guess what Battlefield 2 Deluxe costs ??? -- 19.99

You can get The complete edition at Best Buy for $39.99. I am going to go get one this weekend!!
