Something just does not seem right with this game. I don't like the viewpoint. Everyone looks really small...like trying to shoot ants. The Tanks and other vehicles control really weird. I dunno maybe Im just too used to Bf2 style. The bright colored players seem stupid to me. The sounds are also really off. Im not giving up on it yet. I did like the deathmatch version. Maybe I have something in my settings I need to change? On the plus side.....The server was full and ran well

Well if you never played UT before and are comparing it to BF2 then yes its quite different. My opinion of BF2 was about the same as yours expect in the opposite direction. This is not supposed to be a reality game like BF2 strides for. Although I am not currently liking the controls for Bender and Scorp, the rest of the behicles control much better than UT2K4.
Believe me, even us old time die hard UT2K4 players are more or less forced to approach this game as a completely new game. Also, its a Beta Demo so changes are likely in some regards. -
