Bring back the old DoD server? (not the Source!)

Title explains it all.

The reason why is that Cain's Lair had one of the most popular DoD servers out in that game a few years back (hence how I got to know this community much better), and it was all bullets, explosives and slaughterfest during peak playing times. Fun fun fun.

To Cain: Mind considering bringing it back? I really missed it

He did bring it back for a little while earlier this year. Actually it was DOD Source.

I only played on the DODS server a few times and it was fun but we have all moved on to WAW and are trying to make that game as populated as it can get and to make the server #1.

as much i loved playing DoD 1.3 here, the chances of bringing dod back here are slim. many people have moved on and the dod community, not only this one but the entire dod community has lost a whole bunch of there players and resurrecting a old game will take a lot of hrs of dedication and the man power and i dont think we have that. '

the best thing is enjoy it on any other server that has that feeling of dedication on DoD.

He's right, no matter what community you set up Cain... It will never have that old school feel and camaraderie of DoD 1.3!!

Back in those days bandwidth was expensive and my host was hammering me to cut down on my bandwidth usage...
