WaW sound issue

Hi, i'm having real trouble with voice chat in cod5 everything else soundwise is perfect and i have voice chat on but when someone talks its very jerky.
so this sentence would sound like
s---is---ent--ce---uld---ound---li
lol and its really annoying me, i'm not very intelligent with computers lol so is there anything i can do to fix this?

The bearer of good news all the time Apache lol....I hope that isnt the case cause my sound has been doin that a lil lately

Not sure if you changed the sound setting in windows, under sound and audio advanced there is a slider for sound quality, A lot of issues are caused by this, especially if your using an onboard sound card, typically realtek.

Or it could be packet loss, if the game is smart enough to keep you from getting laggy...I'd rather stuttering people than a stuttering screen.
