Holy crap I need a quick answer!

I just realized that my release client version of Windows 7 ultimate will go inactive on 1 Mar of this year.... Can I buy a retail version of Windows 7 and "upgrade" to it from the release client or am I looking at a complete re-install?

You should have gotten in on the Win7 rollout event MS held. Event Horizons was handling it and everyone that went along with me got a free copy. Buddy of mine got 2 copies (!!!) but had to sell one for $50 2 months ago for gas money (poor college student).

As I read it, the RC will reboot every 2 hours starting on March 1. Its still usable, but it will get annoying in a hurry.

Now we have had a lot of flooding in this area and there are still a lot of houses that have not been repaired. Must be the apocalypse.
