    BF2 under Win7 RC?

    Has anyone tested BF 2 under Win7 RC (64 Bit) yet?

            I told you so But BF2142 Has a Few Crash running it on Win 7 But BF 2 if fine.

              Now all I need is a CLR Squad and we can bring back old times...

              Dislike 2142 anyway... no need to reinstall that...

                1.41 Patch...1.51 is a beta patch which most arn't using yet. Also you should seriously consider getting the AIX 2.0 Mod.

                    Some servers are ranked but it's a separate ranking from regular BF2. Some even have unlocks. I like to play coop cause you can pound on the bots all you want and they won't complain or hack. But thay can be very mean if the AI is cranked up.

                      man I havent touched BF2 in at least two months. It was a great game but has really been dying off faster than I hoped.

                      BF3 should change things and it would be great to get a CL server for BF3. The CL BF2 server got me into the game, would be nice to see old friends.

                        It has consistently had around 1600 ranked servers for quite some time

                          I just installed on my new laptop, am having some problems. Not sure if it is windows 7 or what. usual punkbuster stuff.

                            If it is Win 7, and you have Pro or Ultimate, run it under XP Mode. It is a free download.

                              Go to the shortcut, right click the icon, click compatability, Run in XP or even Vista SP2 and run as administrator.

                              I had the same problem on my new system. Punkbuster kept kicking me out.
