    Stephen J. Cannell dies at 69; TV writer, producer - latimes.com
    He created over 40 shows for TV. The list includes The Rockford Files, Greatest American Hero, The "A" Team, Baa Baa Black Sheep, Baretta, Hunter, The Commish and Wiseguy.
    He was also the author of the Shane Scully Detective Novels. They are a good read and if you haven't read them, give them a try.

            And sad to say, as good as he was, allot of the new writers are not anywhere in his league..most of them below him. Awesome writer, awesome producer..TV has lost a Mega talent and giant of the industry..

            Just glad I can still watch allot of these shows in rerun on cable.

            Rest is peace sir, you will be missed..
