NZXT :: Unique. Unprecendented. Inspired - Phantom Product Detail
Look at the NZXT Phantom. I have it in black and love it. Plenty of cooling and is quiet. It is well designed and already has rubber grommets around preexisting cutouts. It is well designed for hiding wiring. It also has a cutout, on the motherboard, that allows you to put a cooling fan on the CPU without removing the
    CPU.

Im a fan of cases with large side fans that blow on the CPU/mobo/ram/GPU.

Sadly nobody carries the older model I have and the closest at newegg is This.
I prefure mine to the newer ones, they turned the lower bays so your bottom fan blows up against the bay instead of threw it.

I own the vh8003bws, it has 2 places for hard drives, one at the top next to the psu that has 3 slots and a 80mm fan behind it. The second is a removable tray that takes up 3 5" bays and you can move it wherever you want it, and it has a 120mm fan attached to it.

Silverstone FT02B - This thing looks awesome but man it is expensive. I think this may be more than I am willing to spend...
i have that cooler master case. i LOVE it. it is extremely well built! solid, rolled edges, comes with a TON of extra hardware screws in the cd/dvd expansion slot frame.. both sides( they give you like 30 screws, its lame, but what other company does this? )it may be tight with those large cards, but id think they'll fit. i have a "regular" size 5770 in mine, and there is at least 3-4 inches of room for a longer card. The side panel is nice as you can have an extra fan blowing right on CPU and on vid card/s. ( i have an SLI set up ran a bit warm on bottom card, fan fixed that.)

The other thing i like, is with an after market cooler( mine just happens to be a cooler master as well) the cooler blows its exhaust right into the case's rear exhaust fan. my case runs very cool. ( fans that come with case are ridiculously quiet, cant even hear them!)

I looked at the scout. Didn't really like the looks of it or the red LEDs. I also looked into the Phantom a bit. Didn't know it came in black. I read that it is a good case, but kinda funny looking IMO.

My previous case is an Antec 900, so I was kinda wanting to go with something a little more understated this time. Not sure if i will be able to find something that fits what I want aesthetically that still has the features I want, if that makes any sense.

            UPDATE:
SO here is what I have so far:
CPU - Intel 2500K - Got it for $190 at Microcenter
            Cooler - Corsair H70
Case - Silverstone RV02-E - $178 w/ free shipping from Amazon. Ordered today.
            Memory - 16GB G Skill DDR3 1600
            BD-R Burner - Lite-On iHBS212-08 - I believe it was $70 AR.
            PSU - Enermax 1050W Revolution 85+

            Still need:
Motherboard - Right now I am leaning toward the MSI P67-GD65 or the ASUS P8P67 Pro.

SSD - Currently leaning toward Plextor PX-M2 Series PX-128M2S 2.5" 128GB SATA III Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) or OCZ Vertex 3 VTX3-25SAT3-120G 2.5" 120GB SATA III MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD)

I love the Raven cases, I just read about the 03 version today too. I will be interested in hearing how you like it.

16Gb RAM? That a bit overkill isn't it? Or are you planning on running multiple virtual machines or something?

I initially wanted to get one of the FT02s but it was too much money. I didn't think I would like the Raven, but I saw one at Fry's and liked it. I'll let you know how it works for me.

Ya it is overkill. I saw a Shellshocker deal for the kit for $100 off, and I just bought it.

OK, I have decided no more waiting. I am going to buy the MSI board and the OCZ SSD today.

Depending on how much you are willing to spend, and if you have Sata III slots, (havent looked at your mobo yet) this is the drive I recently bought. Now granted ive only had it about 2 months now but no issues with it and its blazing fast.

Have received all parts except the SSD, which should arrive monday. Lucked into a sale on Newegg this morning; all SSDs were 10% off.

I have begun building the rig, here are some pictures.
                          Everything still in the box.

                          Almost everything connected.

What it looks like from the top.

                          From an angle.

                          Closeup of the interior.

Initial impressions: really love this case. It is easy to work in, has good cable routing, and is pretty darn quiet. it was easy to add the H70 radiator where the 12cm exhaust fan is. I also like the way the mobo's back panel is on top. I think that will make it much easier to connect everything. I also like the layout of the motherboard I got. Cable routing has been a breeze.

All I have left is to add the SSD, video card, and secondary HDD, then I'll be ready to start the install process. I'll post more then.

                            Seriously though, it looks great.

I gave myself a headache trying to figure out the position of your case. It's like upwards, then upside down. Then for some reason it's open from the wrong side. I'm so confused

No, really, it looks great. I like that triple fan setup at the front. Not a big fan of PSU's mounted at the top. That Corsair cooler looks great though.

looks like everything is 90 deg. to a regular set up.. the poser supply rear mid mount? and your I/O panel and vid cards come out the top? looks nice, but just seems an odd set up. ( and i say odd because everything seems rotated in such a way)

all the goodies are nice though i am starting to really like MSI. the mobo i bought appears to be top notch. i think i am going to start looking into them for GPU's in the future. plus, they make both nvidia and ati cards.

is this a British case? i just noticed it opens on the wrong side! lol. All of my cases ever have( if looking at it from the front) opened on the left side. the right side is back of mobo/cpu.
Do they have literature as to why they think this set up is better than others? i am curious as to what they think here.
