Well on my last system I had this ALL installed

    1. MSE
    2. Norton 360 ver. 2
    3. Malware AntiMalwarebytes
    4. Super Anti Spyware (super stupid name)

I had those ALL installed at ONE time
Think I over did it? LOL

quite possibly. i use MSE, if i have a doubt that something is on my system, ill try to find another source and run a scan.
id like to think an AV program running behind a firewall, and weekly malware scans would be safe. I only also try to visit sites that seem reputable. i download almost nothing.

i only game, and save photos, so thats my only risk. the photos i care about more than anything.

You only need one runtime monitor enabled at once, so if you have 360, you don't need MSE. A lot of people use MSE now and are happy with it. As long as you use safe browsing practices you will probably be ok with that as well.

As for the firewall, the WIndows firewall should protect you from outside attacks, but I don't think it will protect you if your computer gets infected.
