    New way to change your Origin ID - 10/20/11

    I just saw this on reddit, posted by the BF3 community manager. Go to this site to change your origin ID, with this warning: "It just went up and we're still testing it, so be gentle!"

      So after trying for a while the old way and getting no where, I just did it and it worked!

      I've gone from my actual FirstnameLastname to big_twinky!
      [this is where my funky sig would go. But I don't have one.
      So all you get is this crappy text]

          Origins new "change id" system.

          Looks like Origin finally made it easy to change your Origin ID.

          Have no tried it yet.

                    Just changed mine, don't think it's taken effect yet.

                    Why did this have to be web based again? And not part of the Origin app like Steam.

                    edit: I'm now JuneauCLR.

                        you have to restart origin and it will be changed ...that's what i did after i remade mine

                            How does all this work?

                            I have 2 identities showing on the EA Account Information page. One is my "Master EA ID" and the other is "Battlefield". Am I able to use either as my in-game name or only the master one (or neither because the BF3 name is something else)?
