    Issues with Firefox.

Lately my Firefox has been locking for about 60 seconds or so. This happens when I have multiple windows open and it's driving me crazy. IE works just fine during theses periods so my connection seems to be OK. I have also been getting warnings from windows about Firefox using too much memory. I have used CClenaer to clean out everything but it doesn't seem to help. Any advice?

Duke, try Google Chrome. I use to be a big Firefox user, but I have found that Firefox's quality has been degrading, especially in the last few major updates.

Updating plugins have become a task in Firefox too. I started using Google Chrome and never looked back.

Yes. I actually have my bookmarks synced with my Google account (which is actually a hotmail account).

Were you running any addons for firefox Duke? Tried a fresh install?

Version 8.0 is running flawlessly for me.

I do have a bunch of plugins, maybe I will remove it and reinstall as I have not had this issue with my laptop.

I have that same problem with Firefox and I have tried everything they suggest, and nothing fixes the freezes!!!

Can I delete it and reinstall but save all my bookmarks and passwords, etc. ???

Also, maybe I should try version 8??

Hey if you want to save your bookmarks check out this. It syncs all your bookmarks across all your computers. This and Dropbox are essential IMHO.

I would use Google Chrome but its spyware. If you ever go onto a website, looking (example) at computer parts. There will be an advertisement for it on a different website, etc etc.

Ive always had problems with newer versions of firefox but I really dont mind em. It'll just be like 10 second freezing. I also have Firefox 8

I kicked Firefox to the curb on my desktop and installed chrome. SO far I like the layout. The clud print feature seems pretty cool too.
