The only thing I back up is my pictures, videos, and documents folder. (and some save game info) I figure if the HDD crashes it is a good excuse to do an OS reinstall. I use Carbonite and Acronis.

I agree. That type of loss is scary enough to me that I rotate between 2 backup hard drives (using one for a couple months than switching back to the other to restart the process). Big drives are cheap compared to how much of my life is digital.Originally posted by Azalea View PostComment

Even online backups aren't safe. On professional photographer lost over 25,000 of his photos when the company he used for online back up folded and did not give him enough time to save his work.
