I have been out of the PC upgrade loop for about 13 months so I hope you guys could help me out with a few things. This will be the first of several computer related posts today.
My main PC (The vasctemator as some will remember) is a X58 system, so it has triple channel memory. I currently have three sticks of Muskin memory. I cant find the same kind of ram in 6GB sets only in 12. I THINK I have a slight OC on it too so I'm concerned with filling up the other slots with a different kind of memory.
I also was wondering if I could just grab a 2GB stick and toss it in. I would loose the triple channel but from what I remember that isn't such a big performance hit.
