Battlefield: Hardline Delayed To 2015

The next Battlefield game will no longer be out this fall—EA announced today that they’ve delayed Hardline to next year.

This delay comes in the wake of the disastrous Battlefield 4, which ran into all sorts of bugs and technical issues when it was released last fall. Since then, EA has promised better things for the series, with EA boss Andrew Wilson mentioning to Kotaku boss Stephen Totilo the company’s newfound willingness to delay games that they believe need more polish.

I don't care. I don't plan to buy Hardline anyway.

To tell you the truth, I don't plan on purchasing it either. I played the Beta they put out for it and I did not like many of the features it had. They will probably polish off some of the rough spots that I reported on, but the big ones they probably cannot. Some of that being Police units with Attack Helos, Armored Troop Transport Helos, the BTR's etc. I like a little on the believable side while I play a game. I will stick to Battlefield 4.
