    God Mode

For Windows 10 copy the text below, create a New Folder somewhere (desktop or Documents) and paste in the text for the name and press Enter. The folder should now be named God.Mode. Open it to see what you get. Very handy!

It is a great tool to have. I have had it on all of my computers as soon as I upgraded them to 10.

Ha ha, us old folks have to look out for one another. I remember that learning that Godmode worked in Windows 10 swayed me into upgrading.

It will help when I get my new laptop early next week, when I start to un-Win10 it and remove live tiles an all that other nonsense. Well, nonsense for us old guys!

I would preserve the factory image just in case it isn't friendly to older Windows. You can also check out the forums at http://www.notebookreview.com/ for any model specific help you may need.

I'm not changing versions. Just tweaking things, hiding stuff that MS is trying to push, get rid of tiles (I never use them), etc. Make it look more like Win7 than 10.

Ordered one of these to help cool the laptop. Amazon has a distribution center here so I was able to get same day shipping for about $0.60 more than regular shipping. Nice!

That is a popular cooler around the NBFs. I just use an Altoids can propped under the back.
