Well, I have absolutely no expectations from this game. MW2 completely killed COD for me. Not just me, almost all of my friends feel the same way. So no matter what happens, I won't be as upset as MW2. No dedis? No problem. Monthly fee? No problem. Noobclutches like Martyrdom and Grenade launchers? No problem. The solution is to not buy it. However so far, it's not looking too shabby.

Actually I'm kind of looking for a reason to not play it. The knives in COD are just freaking ridiculous, and the new one in the trailer makes it even worse.

Lol What they are talking about is the used game market. It wont affect new game owners.

What Activision and THQ are doing is exploring the same idea as EA to combat against the used game market with a online pass. You buy the game used, you wont get the full online experience. You pay $5, $10 or how ever much it is to get the full online experience. It could be 10 hours 20 hours, who knows...

If they pulled that crap i wouldn't purchase the game new then. I despise crap like this. I buy some games used for a reason i.e. They're not worth buying new for a new game price.

Well we will find out next month if they is going to be a monthly fee because 1st sep is a full MP preview and 3 days later they going to be an Announcement from what I have read.

You know I was thinking, If they do a monthly fee subscription type thing. Dont let that stop you. I cant see it as beening a requirement. I would think it would be something like Battlefield Heros. Lets say, you pay 10 dollars, x amount of MS points or PS money, You can pic your uniform, maybe get a month early access to map-packs, theme back grounds, gamer pictures, who knows.

Also, I have took notice on the xbox.com Black ops forums, there seems to be alot of miss conception as to what JD_2020 said about dedicated servers meaning to the console users. Serveral posters are thinking that Activision is going to the route of EA, EA been known to pull the plugs on the servers for the older games on PS3 and Xbox360 ie, mainly older sports games.

How much of a true dedicated servers will PC get? Something like BFBC2 with restrictions? Or something similar to the days of COD4 and W@W.
