    Are you overclocking your CPU?

    What resolution are playing at?

The best price/performance ratio is a 1070, but you coudl grab a 1060 and see a big improvement, especially at 1080p

      cpu is overclocked.

      res is at 1366 x 768

asked from the people who made my computer they said
EVGA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti SC GAMING, 4GB GDDR5, DX12 OSD Support (PXOC) (04G-P4-6253-KR)

Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1060 Windforce OC 3GB GDDR5 Graphics Card (GV-N1060WF2OC-3GD)

looking at the pricing of the 1070. I would just end up getting a new computer then put $4-500 for a video card.

I think the video card will extend the life of the computer by about 2 years, but on a new build would be nice.
Maybe there is a nice black friday deal coming up or cyber monday.

After looking at descriptions it looks like the 1060 would be the one.
Now does it matter much if anything by the brand who makes it?

The 1060 is the best bang for your buck right now. Check out EVGA cards Newegg had some nice deals on them last month.

I went and got the zotac card 1060 6gb $279 and only paying 3.5% sales taxes because of the location of the store(plus i could pick it up). Not bad. Sadly there were no deals on 1060's yesterday. 1080 or 1070 yes.
Everything is running on ultra now with no problems.

My 1060 upgrade has been doing well too. I also upped my system ram and managed to overclock the CPU a bit more. Very smooth at 1080p.

1070 here, not playing BF1. But it does fine even under 4K.

You could try updating the Exterior Finish and Trim Accents.

BF1 seems to be more of a graphics hog than CPU. If that one upgrade alone put you at Ultra then there ya go. I have an Nvidia 780 OC'd and I'm all maxed out on the settings in BF1. But the rest of my components are new as I'm sure you are aware of. So I think the new components make up the rest of what the video card is lacking. Although it probably isnt much, I"m sure it helps. I'm still on a 3gb card where as there are 8gb cards available. So when I do pull the trigger on a new 8gb card, my system will be a gaming beast. As of now it kicks the crap out of BF1 but I'm still running at 1920x1080. When I increase the res on a new monitor up to 4k and get a new 8gb card then we'll talk. But as of now I'm fairly happy with the setup. And you should be too, if that one bargain component maxed out the game.
