Many thanks, gents !!! My son (soon to be having a B-day himself, #9 in his case) wanted to take me to the movies, so we saw Jurassic World (his suggestion), then had lunch at Chipotle. I had two friends along as well, so we chatted about movies and life in general. Got home, where I got cards from wife and kids, then burgers and dogs on the grill for supper. Soon, we will be having pound cake and strawberries for dessert, and I'm off on Friday for an ATV ride in the woods up around State College.

I gotta say, 40 was a piece of cake compared to 45 (and 47 ain't any better !!). I am getting a mountain bike (my old bike, in fact, that I gave to a friend of a friend 3 years ago) in hopes that I can shed a few accumulated pounds that I can't easily shake off anymore. Getting older isn't easy, but everybody hasta deal with it, so do the best you can with what you have is my motto for this year.

Hopefully you'll manage it, my step dads in his 50's now hes been told by his cardiologist that he'd like to see him lose some weight.
Its been hard for him to adjust.
