Well, on one hand people are happy that it has finally been proven that ETA was not behind this, like PP's party was stating. Which, all of us knew was just a lie and a smoke screen. Their theory of the conspiracy has been proven wrong.

People are also proud that after a terrorist attack, a trial has been done and some of the involved have been condemned, without any use of Guantanamo or any restriction of our freedom.

On the other hand, it is quite ridiculous that the guilty are so few and will stay in prison for a short time. Our laws say that the maximum time in jail is 40 years.

There is no death penalty in Spain. And I am happy for that, if you want my opinion.

Same here, i'd rather see them suffer a long time, than a short time then killed... its not really punishment then IMO, but i can see why in the US they still do it.

I'm not insane. I'm just overwhelming!

I understand and am proud of Spain for that. It really upsets me that the US is detaining people without trial or charges and using torture or whatever they're calling it now.
