    need a bit of help....

I've got an English paper due tomorrow, on the origin of the Haiku, and i need an example of a Haiku that i can use without having to worry about copyright stuff...

if i use yours you will be credited in the paper as the author of the Haiku and as one of my electronic sources.

    Thx in advance guys

Im not sure is this is copyrighted but a lot of people use it.

    Haiku's are easy,
But sometimes they don't make sense,

I love Haiku. Haiku is meant to paint a vivid picture in your mind in a very short form.
                  Here is one from Basho.

                  Against the brushwood gate
                  Dead tea leaves swirl
                  In the stormy wind.

                    Around the smooth white porcelin,
                    Toilet paper sheets tumble
I just flushed my haiku down my toilet.

I understand it's meaning and uses. I just don't really get the point.
