Zombie invasion plans !! Post your plans here

Inspired by one of those useless PMs that I frequently send, and in this case Trooper and I discuss what we would do in the event that zombies appear and start chewing on us.

So, lets hear your details on what you would do to survive the zombie onslaught ??
Oh if a man tried to take his time on Earth and prove before he died what one man's life could be worth, well I wonder what would happen to this world ? - Harry Chapin

Oooo, me first since I already shared with you

    1) Get my .30-.30 and any close friends/family and head to my uncle's house.
    2) Load up on weapons at his place (probably has 40-50+ rifles and hand guns, although most for hunting)
3)Get in SUVs and drive to Ft. Indiantown Gap with weapons aquired and everyone who has made it there
    4) Access weapons locker at the Gap, as my cousin is in the National Guard and knows the combination
    5) Load up on high caliber, automatic, and all other weapons possible
    6) Obtain military vehicles...preferably Striker vehicles
    7) Drive to the Target that is close by, it has only front doors, maybe a back door/dock for employees and trucks
8 ) Barricade survivors inside Target, lots of food and entertainment possibilities
    9) Fight off zombie hordes if they come too close
    10) Kick back, have some fun, play with firearms and explosives

You don't have enough food on hand. One Target store isn't going to feed a cluster of survivors for all that long. You also need more water, but you can take care of that one if you have internal roof access.

Zombies cant climb according to the original thinking in this fantasy.

A cement wall compound would be best so I could continue to grow food and etc.

You're going to need several years of food because after the zombies have exhausted the living they will feed on themselves.

Playing Left 4 Dead has made me think about this countless times but I don't have a set plan.

I'm headed to the closest person's house with the most guns.

change target to walmart or costco, and then you could hold out as long as the power does, they have massive walk-in freezers.

im sure that camping in a huge mall with full of supplies is a good idea, i think i would rather make a stronghold at my own place. either that or i go to my friend place, where he lives has a corridor before you get to the main entrance and the surrounding has tall brick walls. just need to make a barricade (sandbags and wire) from the corridor to the entrance and people guarding, even better his building is next to the supermarket.

You would be better off out in the country in a defensible position. Long term survival means you will have to grow crops, hunt and gather. Where would you get fresh clean water in a wrecked city? Don't forget, there would be a lot of dead people in the cities. That means lots of vermin like rats. Disease would run rampant.

Where do you put the Bayonet?
Chesty Puller (upon seeing a flamethrower for the first time)
I am all in favor of keeping dangerous weapons out of the hands of fools. Lets start with typewriters.

I probably wouldn't leave my house, to be honest with you. We have enough ammunition in our basement to supply our defense and hunting needs for several years. We have an emergency supply of canned food in case of tornadoes or whatever that should last us a month or so. It will last longer if we let the zombies get my sister. We have a generator in the barn with enough fuel for several weeks of continuous use, or several months of intermittent use. We have a pond in the back yard for fresh water. We have plenty of land for growing crops. 2/3 of our property is surrounded by an outer row of pine trees and two inner rows of bushes. A person with a saw would be hard pressed to get through that, let alone stupid zombies. All we would have to do is figure out a way to close off the last side of our property to the outside and we would be set for a long time. Oh right, and we have our chickens and cows that could sustain us for quite a while.

I would go to Dougs house so we could play cod5 together on his 4 computers!
Then after a few games i would probably go to the empire state building and snipe all the zombies with my 50. cal Then i would go to Hammys house because he has a good plan and i wouldent get bored.

Hmmm I'm actually not in a bad place for this.

1.Grab essentials (i.e. my earthquake survival gear.. flash light (petzel type and scuba powerful one) plus water filtration system. purification tablets and 10 gallons of water.
2.Grab my crowbar and siphon kit
                        3.Grab the .308 and my .17 plinker.
4.Grab ammo box that has a ton of ammo in it(hell I'll grab the primers and powder I got in the reloading bench)
5.Grab actual working short sword and war axe design to penetrate plate (it has a huge foot long squared off spike.
                        6.Grab sleeping bags and tent
7.Load up everything up in back of my Ford F250 4x4 with dual gas tanks(god I need that siphon kit)
                        10. Get can food (and a freaking opener)
                        11. Grab first aid kit
                        12. Grab some books...old army manual on field first aid, The Way Things Work (vol1 and 2) and Foraging in the Santa Cruz mountains
13.Throw in my old rock climbing rope and harness and some tie downs
                        14. Empty the kitchen cupboards of vitamins, supplements and spices
                        15. If there is time thaw everything in the fridge and slow cook it in the oven making jerky
                        16. Grab shades and oh yeah the wife and bail...
                        17 grab some basic tools

Now if my motorcycle was working....theres only one thing to do..

Get the shortsword and crossbow. Get a mohawk and wear assless chaps and keep on the move looking for gas...

                            My plan:

Meet up with Trooper. I have an SUV, and I'll bring the laptops for internet connectivity as well. My father in law has an arsenal in his basement (we are talking more than 40+ weapons of various caliber) so I will borrow a few of his cannons.

If our luck holds out, we will meet up with Mapes at the army depot and Mapes can wire an X10 early alarm system using 2 miles of wiring and some handy dandy motion sensor lighting. That will alert us to any zombies that enter the depot at night.

For transportation, we'd fabricate an armored bus that had Army issue flamethrowers rigged up all around the exterior to spurt fire thru the barred over windows, which would incinerate any zombies that came close enough to melt.

                            Like a B29 Flaming Fortress ... WOOOOSHHH !!!!

Well while Recon and I are playing COD I would wait for the meat in the house to dry out in the oven just enough not to rot
Grab the 12 gauge and ammo
Grab the 30-30 and 22 plus ammo
Have the wife tote the 243 and 9mm
                              Strap on the 10mm
Pick up our dearest friends, Eric, Kelly(MP) and Nikkie
Pack up a couple days rations and first aid kit
Head to Dragon Mans : Dragon Man's until I could make a plan to head east to NC to help MOE, Cain, BlackArrow and anyone else we could find
