What you do is pick an artist or song you like and the site will find more songs similar to the one you picked and sort of make a playlist, and if you register (free account etc no spam) they can save into a group etc.

Yeah my logitech squeezebox has it. It's pretty cool...kinda like lastfm

Also, I use Shazam to pull out songs from shows, movies, radio and etc.

Even if there is heavy background noise, this Shazam will still pluck out the song and show you if it is in the Apple iTunes library, AND give you everywhere that song is available.

i used to use pandora all the time untill they changd it so it can only be used in USA

It is very accurate in suggesting new music.

Its killing our bandwidth at work. We are upgrading from a 10m/full to a 100m/ half connex just to deal with it and other bandwidth sucking apps.

its getting so popular lately, they must be making a ton of money

however, i read in a magazine article maybe last year that they were having problems with music rights, and internet radio. something about internet radio having to pay different fees (a lot more) than say, satellite or fm radio. looks like that changed, because in the article it sounded like pandora was about to go under because of it.

try accessing the site thru a proxy, like https://proxify.com/
EDIT: not sure if this will work, but anything is worth a try...
