Well we dodged this system up here in VT and I happy because I have had enough of snow and ice for this year.

In Madison. It actually rained much of Saturday. They were predicting rain turning to ice and then to snow, which would have been ugly. Was a day off, though, so I wouldn't have had to deal with it anyway.

4"+ here in SE PA, and its my first day back at work since last Tuesday. Had to pass two knucklehead drivers stuck on a hill on my way into work (they started up the hill, got 1/3 of the way and then got hung).
I blew around them on the wrong side of the road (had no choice due to their position) and cursed both of them out for being stupid.
On top of all of my medical problems last week, I blew out my back sneezing on the way home from the doctors on Friday (which was a followup to my visit to the ER on Thursday), so .. yea .. I am having a whale of a wonderful day here !!


I just find a corner of the floor thats cozy and quiet and curl up in the fetal position.

I took today off, but it was "liberal leave" for us. Got perhaps 8 inches here, more to the south and east, so my work location 6-7 miles south probably got more. My wife took some shots this morning, maybe I can post them today.

I'm priming my basement walls today, and cleaning off the car sometime later. The little woman does the shovelling.

(don't blame me, she ordered me not to do that task because of a bad back)

P.S. I'm still doing something job related today. I get to talk to the vice president for marketing for Ikea USA today because their biggest store on the East Coast is within a study area for a master plan I'm leading. Maybe I can score free furniture--there are 3 items I'm getting for my basement from them.
