I was reading another article on this one today, and some of his male fans in interviews were trying to justify it by saying sometimes women hit men too! LOL, pathetic...Wow. Talk about warped logic, or detachment from responsibility for one's actions. Maybe I'd have to listen to hiphop more (at all) to understand that perspective...maybe I could be "enlightened".

That is true. I'm not defending ANYONE here but you can't understand the situation until your in one. My dad was abusive to my mom and my sister. She left him when I was two. I know that my step dad was when they first got married but nothing we could say or do would change anything. My sister's husband is also the same. Those two have been together close to 20 years.

You've been beaten down to the lowest of low and are made to feel that you deserve to be there and nothing can bring you back up. You learn to deal with it, to lie to everyone and to yourself even more. I've seen the worst of the worst happen but yet there are just strings there to hold you back.
