I do believe that i'll be sticking with altec lansing for just about all of my audio needs. Got a pair of 2.1's for the computer a long time ago, along with headphone/mic combo and have never looked back. Very sweet. I'm so jealous of you audiophiles. I have to get by with mainstream equipment because I just can't justify laying down the green for the good stuff.
And Rand, I've been eyeing that Onkyo 606 for some time now. Certainly not top of the line stuff, but it doesn't cost two grand either. An excellent modestly priced receiver by all accounts.Comment
