Very cool time lapse view of driving onto the Golden Gate bridge using stills (from Google street view) to stitch together and make a 'video' of driving near and onto the bridge:

The best thing you can do with the Golden Gate is to take a ferry out of Sausalito and watch it as you go by, or go Salmon fishing out of Sausalito.


I go Salmon fishing every year and every year on the way back in, we see Dolphins chasing the front of our ship as we head back in towards the Golden Gate.

The Ocean view coming back into the bay is my favorite view, because it is rarely photographed this way and it you get a better perspective on what an engineering feat it is.
