What games ??

I think too many people got burned out on COD 4 but at the same time COD WAW came out too close to it and too many didn't want to pay out another $50 for what might be considered a mod.

At least evreyone can afford Battlefield Heros when it comes out and maybe that will get everyone jazzed for 1943.

Plus, there have been some pretty awesome signle player games this year.

I still play CODW@W from time to time... But I'm back to Bf2. (I play it every night ) I reinstall UT99 and UT3. for some reason, UT3 hurts my eyes... I guess cause its a fast paced game.

As for Battlefield Heros... I finally got the beta key and I played it a few times.... My personal opinion.... Other then the intresting cartoony graphics..... it straight sucks. I'll try it again.

You know I recently reinstalled UT3 and I turned down the graphics a bit to increase my FPS and I thought it looked better and felt more like 2K4. I never narrowed it down to what setting it was but I changed the whole experience.

Yep! Maybe 1 day there will be a game hosted here that everyone will enjoy played together.

Probably never going to happen again. Even when we bring back popular games people still find reasons to continue playing their boring SP games.

I'm referring to them all sadly. No SP game has ever come close to full on CLR warfare we had in UT2k4, BF2/2142 and COD4 for me.

I agree with that. I have many times where my internet connection is too slow to get in the game so it's nice to have a gaming option.

I generally prefer playing multiplayer games on the lair. However I prefer more of a squad feel. COD4 doesn't give me that.

I like squad games but i try to add teamwork to cod4 because that is what makes the game more fun for me. Pointing out positions of where the enemy is and where to go/flanking the enemy, knowing where my team is on the map so if a guy runs through an ally or down a road you can tell your team where he is.

Same here. Just because there isn't any actually squads, doesn't mean there's no teamwork. The same goes for DOD

DOD is actually quite like BF2. Still using TW to capture flags, just not in squads. However most people use a mic for attack planning and people end up splitting into squads anyway.
