I don't know if anyone else reads bad ass of the week. Its fairly humorous and filled with cussing fyi. I just read Michael Groves entry in the badassoftheweek
He was the guy who turned back the Somali pirates from a cruise ship a while back using a fire hose and the the long range acoustic device (sound cannon)

I hear the US Navy/ Marine Corps are flexing their musces by flying over the pirates homes on the coast. I am all for the tactic of 'we got a bigger stick than you'. These idiots thank fully don't realise that every time they call home they just help to locate their bases. Fingers crossed for the captain.Jaspurr

Seems that Obama ordered a retake and capture of the ship, which happened today. The captain was saved
Hostage captain rescued, 3 pirates killed - CNN.com
MANAMA, Bahrain (CNN) -- U.S. forces killed three pirates Sunday and rescued cargo ship Capt. Richard Phillips, held hostage in a lifeboat since Wednesday, after seeing him in "imminent danger," a senior defense official told CNN.
The official contradicted earlier reports that the captain jumped into the water off Somalia on Sunday.
Three of the pirates on the lifeboat with Phillips were shot and killed, the U.S. Navy said. A fourth pirate was aboard the nearby USS Bainbridge negotiating Phillips' fate when the shootings occurred. He has since been taken into custody, officials said.
Phillips' ship, the Maersk Alabama, was attacked by the pirates Wednesday. He was uninjured and in good condition after his rescue at 7:19 p.m. (12:19 p.m. ET) Sunday, a senior U.S. official said.[this is where my funky sig would go. But I don't have one.
So all you get is this crappy text]

I was sort of hoping the little pirate fleet would have found the lifeboat. Can you imagine a bunch of pirates running into three USN vessels?
