    The Deadliest Warrior on Spike

    Deadliest Warrior

Ever get a chance, check out this show...it's pretty cool.

I love this show. My wife and I watch it every week.

I just wish they had warriors who had similar styles fighting.

Like have the Apache fight the Ninja... the Gladiator vs Viking vs Spartan.

    And Pirate beats Knight? WTF.
[this is where my funky sig would go. But I don't have one.
So all you get is this crappy text]

I have to agree, from what I saw the Knight would butcher the Pirate. At the very least, the video mock-up was laughable at best. The pirate gets hit by the morning star twice, and the crossbow once, but he is still capable of standing? Well, enough of my silly rant, it's a cool show

Crossbow I can understand, but being hit by that morning star twice was just wrong.

They just re-create the scene based on the weapon victories and prior discussions. Like they said the pirate would do whatever to win, so they have him throw sand in the knights eyes.

I want to see pirate vs ninja!

This is why the Ren Fair has never been held near the Pirate Expo, as far as I can tell

One of my favorite thing of all time was when Regan visited the Japanese Emperor. The Emperors body guards put on a display. On a horse at a full gallop, hanging off the side of a horse they put arrows into targets no bigger than a pack of cigarettes Just wow.

Not just the Emperor's bodyguards do that. Kyudo is Japanese Archery. Yabusame is Japanese Archery from horseback.

There are different sizes of targets as you can see in this video

Japanese gear looks funny to most westerners but, it actually is designed for specific types of protection. Just like traditional Japanese Armor.

You would not believe how flexible Japanese Armor really is. The range of motion is just incredible.

Now we have had a lot of flooding in this area and there are still a lot of houses that have not been repaired. Must be the apocalypse.
