'Sigh' I feel for you guys having turned in your man card a long time ago. It aint about keepin the peace. Its about her seeing things not just from her little bubble.

Point in case. The ATV was out until she wanted something, then with only her interest in mind , she then agreed. Man thats BS. Not just singling your wife out WT. Its just their MO.

I let my American wife go a long time ago, and went overseas and found one. Different culture, different mindset,different treatment. And I'll jump over the moon for her. Why, you might ask? Its because I come first, and she knows how to motivate me by knowing what a man needs. So that puts her right at the top in my book. She gets anything she wants and doesnt even have to work at it. It just comes natural for her.

I can see the little wheels turning in some of you guys heads.But, but, aint that manipulation. Hell yea it is., but its the kind of manipulation every man needs. Kind of hard to explain if you havent been on both sides of the fence.But all I know from being overseas for 3 years is that American women just dont get it. Men are just plain easy. And for the most part most women in the US are too caught up in themselves to see it. I've been there done that, got the T-shirt. End of story.

Went to pick up the quad yesterday that I had looked at on Tuesday. Keep in mind the seller was as normal a Maryland redneck as can be, and we chatted for almost an hour !

So I was a bit shocked when I go down there with Josh (my bro-in-law) to pick up the quad, and on the way the guy's sister calls me and says that the seller was called into work and he may not be there when I show up. Ehh, big deal, we can make the deal without him .. until she tells me he has the titile with him. Ohh, welll .. hmmm ...

So we are already halfway there, and I am damn sure not turning around just because of this setback. So we get there around 3PM, maybe an hour earlier than when I told them I was coming, and I see the garage door going down as we pull in. I knock on the door ... nothing .. wait 3 minutes ... nothing. I finally walk back to the truck, and when I get there, out pops the seller from the house.

I go over to shake his hand, and he literally melts in front of me. He starts cursing me out, saying "Why the ____ are you here on MY TIME ??? Who the _____ are you to just show up right after I get home from work bothering me ???
I state that I had emailed yesterday and I called around noon before we left. He continues to holler that I just show up and again stressing that it was me making his schedule a mess. He literally was foaming at the mouth and swinging his arms like a cartoon character !!!!

He finally yells that he doesn't have time to deal with me anymore, and fires this off "The bike isn't for sale !!" and slams the door on me. Needless to say, I stood there open mouthed for a second, then hurried back to the truck. Josh says "WTF was up with him"? and I said, "Just get out of here as fast as you can !!"

We were absolutely floored that a guy that I talked with on Tuesday was now clearly doing a Dr. Jekyll/Mr. Hyde thing and had to be on some wild stuff to be so agitated as to be foaming at the mouth and damn near ready to hit me.

So ... yea .... I am beginning to think that a higher power is trying to send me a message at the point ...


PS - I have two more quads to look at next week, and I surely hope neither seller inhales something illegal into his system just before I arrive

Don't let the way you feel after the 1st ride dissuade you. The 1st time back on my dirt bike, after 30+ years, I hurt like hell. But ever time it got better and I was less sore afterward. Have fun with it!


As an aside, I was into RC cars and trucks pretty heavy about 15 years ago and it was a very expensive hobby.

Ehh, Boss ... I game every night !! Its a game called Team Fortress 2 !
Check my stats for the last week and you'll see over 2 hours a day average. I think I was second to post in the thread 'Any chance of getting a TF2 server'?

You may recall how I hung onto playing ET for 4.5+ years after it came out, so I tend to play a game to death, way more than the average CLR. That's just me, I am not abandoning the server or regulars, its more the other way around.

Then I tend to play games to death also i still play red alert 2, as well as Empire Earth, although i tend to get bored with rpg's after one or two play throughs, exeption being fable. I play an mmorpg called Tibia that I have been playing for 8 years(about half my life) So WT your not alone.

2002 Yamaha Warrior with a jet kit, K&N air filter, White Bros exhaust, good tires and very clean other than the mud on it in the pics. I managed to find one scratch on the plastic by the handlebar. Seller dropped the price to $1400, so I made out quite well !



The search is over .... no more idiots that are on illegal narcotics to deal with !!
