    Know What Sucks?

Working a 10 hour day and then writing this post as I'm working on a PowerPoint at home to present tomorrow morning.

Working ~8:30 am until ~10:30 pm tomorrow.

Working ~8:15 am until ~7:00 pm on Thursday, and 10 until 7 Friday and pretty much all next week.

Going into the office the next two Saturdays to finish work on a project that only I can complete--which is basically what I did last week for another project that only I could complete.

Being pretty much utterly indepensible to the Planning Department of a jurisdiction planning the future for 860,000 residents but not getting compensated for that fact.

I am usually at work Monday through Saturday from 6:00 AM till 6:30 PM. Sundays and my few days off are spent doing paperwork.

      ... a vacuum?

On a serious note, this really makes high school look appealing. I certainly am glad that I am not in your place. At least it looks like you have good job security!

Yeah, but you own your own business and live or die on its success. I'm just an evolved office drone.

Now we have had a lot of flooding in this area and there are still a lot of houses that have not been repaired. Must be the apocalypse.
