Sunday morning me and the Mrs are flying off to Hawaii for a week! We will be on O'ahu doing the touristy thing. We are going the the Arizon memorial, taking a sub ride and doing the obligatory pig roast. Also a trip to the Waemia gardens and falls.

I expect about 2,000 posts from you spammy bastards when I get back.

Well, that was the fastest week ever.

The funky looking mountain at the start of the clip is the crater of an extinct volcano called Diamond Head and I ended up hiking all the way up to the tippy top of that. The statue of the woman that you see a close up of is in Punchbowl Cemetary. The beach shot with the giant pink hotel is where our hotel eventually was built and that was the beach that we floated in the water in every day.

We also went to the Polynesian Cultural Center for a day, took a submarine ride and spent a day in Pearl Harbor. Oddly enough there hundreds of Japanese tourists at the USS Arizona Memorial but none at the USS Missouri where the Japanese surrendered.

I'll post some pics as soon as I can figure out this Photobucket thingy.

Glad you had a great time. I've only been to Maui and the Big Island, and loved them both. Next stop will need to be Kauai.
