    Air rechargeable batteries

Higher capacity, uses oxygen from the air, I'm not seeing a problem here....

I can see how these batteries may not work in some of the world's more polluted cities or how we can now start fighting for air with batteries and cars.

Great invention though. Although I'm having visions of the movie Total Recall where the oxygen was such a precious thing that it was controlled to the point of exploited.
[this is where my funky sig would go. But I don't have one.
So all you get is this crappy text]

Honeywell was working on a technology a few years ago using instantly charging capacitors that discharge at a slow rate and if perfected could replace batteries and be recharged by static electricity. I haven't heard any thing on this in a while though.

Alternet fuel technology has mad a great leap and with many possibilities...
But it comes down to one thing, money, who can make this work for the least amount of money. Hydrogen cell cars, great invention to much money to produce cells. Water powered cars, they have some running cost hundred of thousands of dollars though. Everything in todays world is possible with the right amount of money.
