    1963 VW bus - Vette/Porsche eater !!

520HP stuffed into this 1963 VW bus (Porsche engine and suspension pieces):

Absolutely crazy to see that monstrosity passing cars with ease. It isn't the true definition of a 'sleeper', but you don't see a 500+hp VW bus every day either.
Oh if a man tried to take his time on Earth and prove before he died what one man's life could be worth, well I wonder what would happen to this world ? - Harry Chapin

Reminds me when a friend of mine bought an old school mini cooper. Check out Z-Cars. They do a mod for old school mini's where they can put not one but two Yamaha YZF-R1 motors in the back. No joke they put two of my bikes motors in a freaking small mini....Whoa

    Heres a youtube vid

It's good on the straights, but I wouldn't want that center of gravity on corners! Hard to believe some of those other cars were really pushing it on corners.

That is awesome. I know a few 60's hippie relics that would think that putting such a large carbon foot print on such a symbol of freedom would be blasphemy.

What would be funny is to get some gray haired guy with a pony tail out on the road and see what reaction they could get from people with sports cars as they get dusted by this thing.

Heh. That is a big footprint. Would be a hoot seeing some guy in Lennon shades and a flowered vest laying a huge patch at a light. The opposite of the other day when I blew by one of these vans in my 40' bus, lol!

Also, Mapes, I want to drive that mini!

lol would have loved to have seen the faces and what the drivers of those GT[insert letter here] cars where saying when a big lump of VW suddenly appeared in their rear mirrors.

Now we have had a lot of flooding in this area and there are still a lot of houses that have not been repaired. Must be the apocalypse.
