I got busted at my school the today for something i have been doing for months...
hacking into the school's network and playing the origonal UT LAN, it was butloads of fun until they placed a new camera in the cpu room that recorded me bypassing the schools block system and loading the game up onto the schools computer. Well im i've got in school suspension(iss) with 7 of my buddies for the last 6 days of school, which is a bummer but what is funny is that iss in my school is a joke we just sit around and talk the whole time.
No no real problems other than they revoked my cpu "privliges" at the school for my next 2 years at school.

Sorry to hear that- but you should be really concerned about that. That kind of thing on your transcript makes it very ugly when you apply to colleges.

Contrary to the myth about hacking and acceptance, Colleges will not enjoy seeing that. I have a friend of mine who scored 1300ish on the SAT, was a 3.8 GPA student, tons of honor programs, but the idiot hacked into the system at his highschool and caused some serious damage. He ended up at some out of state liberal university in Idaho or something. I talk to him by email occasionally, but this guy really blew his future away.

Case by case is only if they are willing to review your situation- most of the time you get put into the reject pile thanks to how competitive it is becoming to get into universities. The economy has also made in state colleges more competitive, and although alot can change in two years, you probably are going to need to take this to the next level academically if you are going to overcome this mark on your record

I wouldn't worry too much about it. As long as you were not destructive to the system and were merely playing games I'm sure it won't ruin your life.

Hammy I'm already in the clear I went in front of the school board presented my case and pretty much made my principle look like an @$$. He will problibly be riding me now, but in the meantime im safe.
