This is just their own way of not having to pay for an extensive background check.

What it does not address is what happens if someone steals your likeness and image and creates a detrimental site. This suggests that all likeness of online social life are subject to scrutiny.

Then there is a bleeder effect, okay- if online, then why not public too? Are you part of the Knights of Columbus, a Free Mason, or part of PETA? Please provide a complete record of your voting habits for the last 3 elections, as well as your last 5 tax returns. Please have your wife do the same.

Please list all family members who have read a book related to the topics of: Racism, Communism, Fascism, or all topics that could be construed critical of Barrack Obama.

Please list all firearms that you own, with serial numbers, plus an attached reciept for proof of purchase of gun locks for each weapon.

Please provide proof that you have never returned a library book late.

Please get a note from your mother that states you havent been a completely neglectful offspring.

Do you employ a Nanny, Maid, or Courtesy Service for your home? Please have them fill out this information and agree to a background check for illegal aliens.

Have you ever had a babysitter? How much did you pay her?

Can you please attach proof and certification of your current carbon footprint?

    ------

    and on and on.

Again - "protect you from yourself" and "for the better of the people"

I may be wrong, but I don't believe it will last long. If they want detailed information to determine a person character, trustworthiness, etc. Pay for a background investigation like Hammy said they were too cheap to do.

Well since the info is coming from the applicant I can't see that being a problem.

I have a huge problem with the whole concept though. If I needed the job. I would say I don't frequent any social sites.... Unless your maybe going for an IT position I can't see how they can say your lying. The whole thing seems a bit intrusive to me.

Now we have had a lot of flooding in this area and there are still a lot of houses that have not been repaired. Must be the apocalypse.
