I've used cheapthandirt a couple of times and didn't have a problem. I think the last time I bought 500 rounds of Lithuanian surplus NATO 7.62 to shoot out of my Rem 700 .308. It shot fine and I had no complaints. I think it was priced at 50 cents a round so not bad. A buddy of mine uses them alot for 30-06 ammo and he has no complaints. Then again YMMV.

GOOD NEWS. I just got home and checked the stamp on my barrel and it was stamped "DPMS 5.56 1-9".... Military surplus ammo here I come.

Just found a good deal at cheaperthandirt for '10mm Auto BVAC FMJ 180 Grain 500 Round Value Pack 1200 FPS' for $185.79. I figure at this price it's perfect for the practice at the range.

Any body had bad experience with BVAC Ammo I should know about?

EDIT: I think it was cabellas, and I dont know if the bill has been vetoed, or if it is still law(or whatever, dont know these terms obviously)Thinking back my friend and I both got letters from some group, NRA or something, to help fight a bill. AB962

It goes on to say that it is a misdemeanor and blah blah. I really dont wanna read that whole thing, I dont know if it says anything about other types of ammo, so it may only be handgun. And, I am pretty sure I remember getting a letter from a company(cabellas maybe) saying that they are going to stop shipping to CA. It probably was in January or Feb, when it was being enacted.
