    microlight aircraft flight!!

    Okay so I did it!!!

I have this friend at work who always tell us that it is her dream to flight in one of these, and I thought I would make her happy...

I have this relative that has been flying for 40 years and owns a couple of these microlight planes (we call them "ultraligeros"), so I thought I would ask him... and we organized it!

Finally today we went to the airfield early in the morning because it would be less windy, and I was JUST going with my friend to introduce her to the guy and you know...take pics and just be there with her.

But after her flight, I thought....wth, it is my turn now!! And I did it, and it was absolutely amazing and now I want to get the license lol

    I'll post pictures soon!

Next thing we know you will be jumping out of perfectly good airplanes, just like Mapes.

Where do you put the Bayonet?

Congrats on the small aircraft ride. It's a whole different experience then flying as a passenger in a larger aircraft.

Looks like fun, for those who fly.

I thought you meant a different type of plane at first. We've got something we call an Ultralight here that's a smaller, one-person job that's almost completely open. It's basically a hang glider with an engine strapped to it.

Wow...that is awesome! Great pictures too. Almost makes me want to try it but I have this phobia of heights that kind of limits me. So, when you get your license to fly, how long until you visit America?

I have heard they are somewhat dangerous as well...not the one Minerva flew in, but the one that looks like a hanglider

Now we have had a lot of flooding in this area and there are still a lot of houses that have not been repaired. Must be the apocalypse.
