Guys, if the world was to end, it'd be on a Tuesday.

I don't know if I should or should not, but I am excited for this date, why? Because it's a bunch of bull crap in my mind. I don't want to offend anyone's religion at all, but from my perspective, nothing will happen. Why? Because maybe there is a god or not, but science is coming closer and closer to "no that's a bunch of bull". I believe there's a god myself, but I don't believe a bunch of stuff in the bible or religious teachings. I believe what makes sense to me and what I think seems most reasonable.
Maybe a meteor will crush us all, maybe Yellow Stone will erupt again, maybe a 9.0 magnitude Earthquake will cause a Tsunami like it supposibly does every 300 years off the Oregon cost (and we are near the end of the 300 years), maybe Mt St Helen's was just a fart, and there's more to come, but all at once. Who knows.
The mayan's, sure they predicted some stuff, but the end of the world, on a specific date, at 11:11 am, that seems like a bunch of bull crap.
Supposibly the Bible and Koran point towards the same window, but for the end to come at 12/21/12 11:11am from hundreds to thousands of years ago predicted, it doesn't seem right to me.
This reminds me of the Mormon South Park. I'm not going to diss the Mormon religion, but the story they said. How could anyone know that he wasn't lying at all? It seems the only proof we really have is from people saying "oh yeah I saw god in a big massive white robe with a big massive beard telling me this date was going to be the end of us all."

I think any sort of doomsday, Nostradamus, Mayan calendar prediction is quite absurd.
What is unique about all the numbers in the date being in a clever sequence? The numbers placed upon the days are completely arbitrary and artificial.
I think anyone who buys into this is quite silly (No offense... but seriously).
On a side note, everytime I watch a piece about a prophet and all their vague predictions being right (I'm talking to you Nostrodamus), I never see anything discussed relating to the times they are wrong...which I'm sure outnumbers the times they're right.

I will give to you guys that Nostrodamus was a crack, but what makes this prediction scary is that it wasn't just Nostrodamus and the Mayans that predict it. If you actually do research on this, the Egyptians and the ancient Chinese, along with several other cultures that i cant remember off the top of my head all have different types of calenders that all point to the exact same date. Now I'm not saying that any of this has any weight to it, all I am saying is that it is something to think about, and when you do think about it, its kinda scary.
