I love it when I go to a website and, when you make an initial purchase, they try to fool you into adding other crap onto your purchase, in some cases, like a magazine subscription or other crap you DON'T NEED!
What they LIKE to do, is try to catch you NOT thinking or perhaps you were tired when you placed the order they can fool you into getting it.
For example...makethe "No I don't want this in REALLY TINY FONT" and the "YES ILL TAKE IT" in real BIG FONT!!
Sometimes the wording such as that you won't get your product, unless you go along with the additional deal.
Then you "Click" YES, when you should have clicked "No", Ooops, you just ordered additional crap you didn't mean to, and now your stuck.
One time I ordered a video game from EB Games, and they pulled this crap when I tried to conclude my order, I thought it was a "submit" button for my order, but turned out it was a "SUBMIT" button for some other crap....my order was actually already placed, but I didn't know it.
Recently, I fell for the ol' "Free Shipping" crap, and when I went to place the order they had a whole line of shipping options.
The "We recommended this method of shipping" was already selected, which was 5.95 shipping, I had inadvertantly click "Submit", when I realized the "FREE SHIPPING" option was just ABOVE it, NOT clicked.
THey should have it so NOTHING is clicked.
So I have to call in and tell them to change my friggin order!!
Anyone ever fell for this?
